From November 18 to 19, 2023, the 16th Luojia Golden Autumn International Culture Festival of Wuhan University was grandly held in Guiyuan Playground. Students from more than 80 countries and regions attended the festival, showing their diverse styles in the exchange of food, singing and dancing, and culture.
The students of Master of International Business (MIB) major in School of Economics and Management of Wuhan University also actively participated in the international culture festival.CHAITY HAZARA BINTA SHURUJ from Bangladesh, JANTANPORNCHAI NUTTACHA from Thailand, and POLDECH KANTAOPL respectively showed the traditional food and characteristic culture of their hometowns, attracting many students to stop and taste and watch.
As one of the earliest, largest, most distinctive and most influential international cultural exchange activities in colleges and universities in China, the Luojia Golden Autumn International Cultural Festival is not only an effective carrier for cultural exchanges among young people from different countries, but also a great platform for MIB students to improve their international business communication skills. In line with the current trend of business internationalization, the MIB program hopes that through such activities, students can establish a sense of communication, cultivate international business students to master successful communication skills in their professional field and personal life, experience the common sense of international business communication in international marketing scenarios, and practice cross-cultural communication skills. Through this activity, MIB students learned about the characteristics of business communication etiquette and customs in many countries and regions that have established international economic and trade relations with China, and improved their business communication skills. Participating in the international cultural festival activities plays a positive role in improving students' comprehensive quality, cultivating students' sensitivity to cultural differences in cross-cultural business communication, and improving students' communicative ability in domestic and foreign business activities.
