The keynote speakers and audience discussed the challenges and opportunities of business education from the aspects of “coordinated economy”, “international cooperation” and “reforming traditional education mode”. They also discussed how the business schools can gear up to changes of modern society and new science trend, so as to better serve the society, and meet the demands of students, economic and social development.
During the meeting, Prof. Xie exchanged viewpoints on the development trend of Chinese business schools with Prof. Qian Yinyi, the dean of School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, Prof. Zhou Lin, the dean of Antai College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiaotong University and other deans of business schools of China.

After the meeting, Prof. Xie Danyang visited Lee Kong Chian School of Business of Singapore Management University and EDHEC-Asia, and expected to reach several agreements on undergraduate/master/Ph.D. programs, faculty/student communication, EDP, and other communications. Details will be determined in later mutual visits.
Lee Kong Chian School of Business is one of the top business schools of Asia. It has close cooperation with top business schools of China and other nations of the world. In this visit, the two parties reached agreements on student and faculty exchange, academic degree cooperation, etc., and promised to start relevant programs as soon as possible.
