On the morning of November 4th, Professor Li Tianxing, Dean of the College of Management, Fu Jen Catholic University came to visit our school delivered a special lecture on AACSB accreditation. Professor Li is a member of the AACSB Peer Review Team, and concurrently serves as the only review committee member of AACSB for the Greater China Region. Many leaders and teachers attended this lecture, including the Deputy Party Secretary of the School Zhu Jianping, Vice Deans of the School Li Yanping, Wang Tao, and Li Jinong as well as some departments and institutions heads, directors of internal agencies, and teachers undertaking relevant accreditation work.

During the lecture, Professor Li introduced and explained the 2013 AACSB accreditation standard. He pointed out that the new standard consisted of four parts: strategic management and innovation, participants, learning and teaching, academic and professional Engagement, and made detailed analysis on each part. He stated clearly the connection and distinction between the 2013 standard and the 2003 one. Then he and the school leaders made a thorough discussion and exchange about the actual conditions of the school and those aspects needed to be improved.

This lecture went on smoothly and achieved desired effects, showing the way of and laying a good foundation for conducting AACSB accreditation work in the future. All the teachers present expressed that they would make full use of the opportunities brought by AACSB accreditation to improve the teaching, scientific research, and management of the school in accordance with relevant standards, and do their bits for the school to pass the AACSB accreditation.
