According to Issue 5, 2014 (No. 10) of “Discipline Service News” released by Wuhan University Library, following the five articles from our school that were named as general social sciences ESI citation contributions, our school has another two articles that were named in mathematics ESI citation contributions, and computer science ESI citation contributions, respectively.

Professor Xu Minghui, of our school’s Department of Management Science and Engineering, has an essay titled “Optimal Decisions When Balancing Expected Profit and Conditional Value-at-risk in Newsvendor Models” published onJournal of Systems Science & Complexityin 2010. This essay has been cited 5 times, and listed among mathematics ESI citation contribution articles.

Associate Professor Shen Xiaoliang, also of Department of Management Science and Engineering, has an essay titled “Transition of electronic word-of-mouth services from web to mobile context: A trust transfer perspective” published onDecision Support Systemsin 2012. This essay has been cited 1 time, and listed among computer science ESI citation contribution articles.

As our school becomes further engaged in international academic exchange and collaborations, and the quality of our works improves, we believe our contribution to Wuhan University’s ESI rankings will continue to increase, and our influence will be even greater.
