After more than three months of arduous struggle,Hubei has achieved a staged victory in the fight against the COVID-19.With the economic and social recovery and the start of reconstruction,all economic activities in Hubei are in dire straits.At the same time,the developmentof economy of Hubei province is also at a historical juncture.At this moment,scholarsmajoring economics and managementin Hubei have the responsibility to contribute to the country and the future development of Hubeiprovince.

Fifteen experts and scholars from the Economics and Management School of Wuhan University,the Instituteof Central China Development of Wuhan University and the Department of Economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong gave keynote speeches on the Tencent conference online platform.This forum was hosted by Professor Yu Zhen,Vice Dean of the Economics and Management School of Wuhan University,and Professor Song Min,Dean of School of Economics and Management of Wuhan University,delivered a welcome speech.The forum attracted nearly 300 experts,scholars,alumni,and entrepreneurs to participateonline.

At the end of the forum,Professor Yu Zhen summarized threefeutures for this forum:this was the firstissue of the forum,the topicattracted extensive attention,and theduration of the discussion was incredibly long.He saidthat the experts' speechesare based on long-term and in-depth research on Hubei,based on their own profound academic accumulation and analysis from a broad academic perspective.This is our advantage andbasis to run the "Revitalizing Hubei Economic Forum".
