On November 17, the 18th award ceremony of Sun Yefang Economic Science Award, the highest prize in China’s economic circle, was held in Beijing. Qiao Hongwu, a professor at the Economics and Management School (EMS) of Wuhan University, won the 18th Sun Yefang Economic Science Award for his research on Western Economic Ethics.
Professor Qiao Hongwu is the doctoral supervisor of the history of economic thought in the department of Economics at EMS, Wuhan University. He has been engaged in teaching and research on the history of marxist economic thought, the history of foreign economic thought and the history of economic ethics. Qiao Hongwu expresses, this award is the great encouragement to himself and the fully approval of China’s economics academic circle on this research.
