On August 3, 2023, a team led by Nie Jun,Dean of Economic and Management School, Wuhan University, departed for the annual meeting of the AOM to be held in Boston for recruitment of overseas talents for the school this year.To Promote the great achievements of the school in the 130th anniversary of business education and outline the future development of the schoolThis AOM recruitment campaign was strongly supported by the Charles Huang Foundation.

On August  3-9, Dean Nie and Professor Liu Linqing, Liu Xueyuan, Liu Yan  interviewed a total of more than 30 applicants from elite colleges such as Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Texas at Dallas, Rutgers University, Ohio State University, Bocconi University, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Tsinghua University University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xi 'an Jiaotong University etc, conducting an all-round evaluation of their academic achievement, professional competence, team spirit, academic development potential and teaching capability, among others. On the evening of August 5, the recruitment team attended a recruitment reception at the AOM annual meeting organized by EMS. Dean Nie introduced our school’s information including disciplinary development, academic research and teaching requirements, and had face-to-face exchanges with participating students and scholars.

This event was successfully wrapped up on August 9. Overseas talent recruitment allows us to attract potential top-notch talents, but also promote our school and expand its international influence.
