Prof. Qi Shaozhou Went to Australia for Academic Exchange

Normal07.8 磅02falsefalsefalseEN-USZH-CNX-NONERecently, Prof. Qi Shaozhou from the Department of World Economics, Economics and Management School went to attend the 58thAnnual Conference of the Australia Agricultural & Resource Economics Society (AARES) at the invitation of Australian National University (ANU). On the conference, he gave a speech titled “Hubei’s ETS, and design features of ETS in the Chinese context”. Afterwards he participated in the symposium “Emissions Trading in China” held by the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy, and voiced his opinions. During the session, Prof. Qi also discussed about the progress with partners in the ANU concerning the “Australia-China research program on climate change mitigation policy”, and talked with officials from the Department of Environment, Australia. Finally, he attended the “China-Australia Carbon Market Development Expert Symposium” held by the University of New South Wales, Australia as an invited speaker.
