Date:2014-10-08

Normal07.8 磅02falsefalsefalseEN-USZH-CNX-NONERecently, the Library of Wuhan University has released “Wuhan University Social Science ESI Citation Contribution Analysis Report (2004-2014)”. The data in the report come from Web of Science’s SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded) database and SSCI (Social Science Citation Index) database, covering data from January 1, 2004 to August 31, 2014. For our school, we have one author who has the highest ranking among authors with high social science ESI citation contributions for our university, and five papers among the contributing papers.

The foreign student Jalil Abdul, under the supervision of our school’s Professor Ma Ying, published the paper “Environment Kuznets curve for CO2 emissions: A cointegration analysis for China” on the journal Energy Policy in 2009. This paper has been cited 72 times, making him the highest ranking authors among our university’s authors with high social science ESI citation contributions.

With the expansion of our school’s internationalization efforts, the frequency of our exchange with the international community has increased, and the quality of our works has improved. We believe our school’s contribution to our university’s ESI social science ranking will become greater still, and our influence will continue to grow.
